Emma, a kind and outgoing physiotherapist, has a genuine passion for educating and empowering her clients to become stronger and healthier versions of themselves.  She believes that everyone deserves to be able to live a healthy, active lifestyle and as a physio, she finds that being able to assist someone to improve their quality of life is very humbling. She believes people should be actively involved in decisions around their care and recognises the importance of respecting people’s personal values, preferences and needs.

With a background in weightlifting and natural bodybuilding, and additional study in functional movement and exercise prescription, Emma is well placed to develop highly-specific exercise programs to suit her clients’ individual needs and goals. She integrates her deep knowledge of the principles of strength training and biomechanics into her everyday practice and patient treatments.

In addition to competitive weightlifting and bodybuilding, Emma loves to hike and spend time with her family and friends.

Emma’s favourite quote:

‘The purpose of life is to discover your gift. The work of life is to develop it. The meaning in life is to give your gift away.’  – David Viscott
