Alex (Myung-Woo) Lee

Alex (Myung-Woo) Lee

Alex graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2014, achieving first class honours for his research on musculoskeletal adaptation of the trunk and hip in elite softball athletes. Additionally, he has worked as a research assistant at the University of Queensland, on the effects of ACL reconstructions.

Throughout the course of his studies, Alex showed a keen interest in helping fellow physiotherapy students in their studies, most notably as a Peer Assisted Study Session (PASS) leader in Biology and as a standardised patient. He enjoyed playing rugby union and mixed netball with his colleagues at the University of Queensland.

Alex joined the Active Rehabilitation Physiotherapy team in 2015 and provides inpatient services at the Mater Private Hospital and Brisbane Private Hospital. He aims to provide best practice in the early stages of recovery to optimise rehabilitation. He has a keen interest in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Alex is passionate about health and fitness and takes an active role in healthy eating and exercise at the gym.
