A stand-out, rewarding moment in Alison’s career was assisting a teenage refugee patient who had never walked, to learn how to walk independently. “It was life-changing for this patient and her family who cared for her.” 

For almost three decades, Alison has dedicated herself to improving the wellbeing of others. Deep knowledge of evidence-based practice allows her to expertly assess, treat and assist the prevention of many injuries, developmental issues and health conditions. Her warm and genuine nature endears her to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. 

Alison loves working with her “kind and inspirational” colleagues in the Active Rehab team and is always willing to share her time and expertise to mentor others. 

When not at work, Alison likes to hike, cycle, play golf and discover new coffee shops.
