Amy is a driven and empathetic physiotherapist with a passion for helping patients on their rehabilitation journey. Her approach to patient care is guided by evidence-based treatments and professional education. Amy is passionate about contributing to the development of knowledge in physiotherapy through research. She completed a research thesis about new-graduate physiotherapists’ perceptions of social media as a learning tool, and hopes to participate in more research projects in the future.  

Amy was recognized for her hard work and dedication with the UQ ‘Ailsa Munro Physiotherapy Scholarship’ in 2021 and 2022. Her favourite moment as a physio was witnessing a bedbound patient walk again, after sustaining an extensive brain surgery, and seeing the joy and excitement in her face and the faces of her family.  

In her spare time, Amy enjoys powerlifting and strength training, crocheting, and spending time with friends and family. She aims to travel as much of the world as possible.
