Chris is an experienced and optimistic physiotherapist who has dedicated over two decades to the field of orthopaedic rehabilitation. Known by his colleagues as calm, caring, and organised, Chris takes a practical and patient-centred approach to care. He is passionate about gently guiding patients through the early stages of recovery – helping them walk, move, and regain confidence after surgery – so they can return home and get back to doing the things they love.
Chris values the privilege of being able to support people in a hands-on way during their hospital stay, aiming to make the experience as productive and stress-free as possible. He has passionately dedicated the past 20 years of his career to focus on orthopaedics.
Whether he’s assisting his patients with their first steps after surgery or helping someone realise they’re more capable than they thought, Chris finds joy in seeing patients progress and surprise themselves. Chris brings, not only clinical expertise, but also a steady and supportive presence to the Active team – helping patients feel confident, capable, and well cared for during their recovery journey.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys both mountain and road biking with friends and loves camping with his family whenever possible.
