Eamon has a particular passion for supporting patients undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment and his patients benefit from his considerate, gentle and light approach. In his role as Cancer Care Clinical Stream Co-Leader, he coordinates Active’s Cancer Care physiotherapy team and services using evidence-based clinical knowledge and skills to lead by example. With significant experience in this area, Eamon works alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient support.
As one of our Men’s Health Physiotherapists, Eamon helps men through prostate surgery rehabilitation. Working in both Active’s hospital physiotherapy team and outpatient team, Eamon loves the opportunity this gives him to provide ongoing, connected care for his patients, to guide them through their rehabilitation journey.
As Active Rehab’s Weekend Team Leader, Eamon coordinates and mentors our weekend physiotherapy team, utilising his strong clinical skills, work ethic and high-level organisational skills. He also works as part of Active’s Clinical Education team supporting final year physiotherapy students from UQ.
Hailing from Mackay, Eamon is an avid North Queensland Cowboys supporter and enjoys watching and playing sports, as well as trying his hand at woodworking at his local Men’s Shed.
