Emma is a caring and dedicated senior physiotherapist who is passionate about supporting people through recovery following surgery, illness, and cancer treatment. As one of our senior hospital physiotherapists, she has extensive experience caring for patients after breast cancer surgery, gynaecological surgery, and other complex surgical procedures, while also supporting patients across a broad range of hospital rehabilitation needs. Emma provides thoughtful, individualised care that supports mobility, recovery, pain management, and confidence throughout rehabilitation. 

Within Active’s Breast Cancer Care service, Emma works closely with patients before and after surgery and treatment, helping them navigate the physical challenges of recovery with compassion and practical support. She understands that every person’s experience is different and takes the time to listen, educate, and tailor treatment to each individual’s goals and needs. Her calm and reassuring approach helps patients feel supported, informed, and cared for during what can often be an overwhelming time. 

Emma also contributes to Active’s clinical education team, supporting final year physiotherapy students and sharing her passion for high quality patient-centred care. Outside of work, Emma enjoys dance classes, local musical theatre productions, travelling, hiking, and relaxing with a good book.
