As a member of both Active’s hospital physiotherapy team and outpatient team, Hamish loves the opportunity this gives him to provide ongoing, connected care for his patients, to guide them through their rehabilitation journey. His thirst for learning and passion for providing meaningful support to better the lives of others, produce highly effective outcomes for the people he works with. Described by his colleagues as ‘sincere’, ‘engaged’ and ‘reflective’, he has a genuine interest in caring for others, strategically and systematically working towards helping his patients achieve meaningful goals. 

During his time at university, Hamish worked for a not–for–profit organisation in remote communities providing a broad range of physiotherapy services to children and adults. He has lived in the United Kingdom and Scotland, where he developed a keen interest in their history and people. An avid sportsman, Hamish has played state-level cricket as a fast bowler, and enjoys tennis and football. On a day off, Hamish also enjoys picking up a paintbrush or playing the guitar, as well as reading biographies.
