Kylie Mesquitta is a creative, empathetic, and dedicated physiotherapist. She began her career as a medical laboratory scientist before transitioning to a hospital Physiotherapy Assistant role, which led her to pursue a Physiotherapy degree. Kylie values the trust placed in physiotherapists to provide evidence-based interventions that improve patients’ pain, function, and quality of life. Her patient-centred approach ensures that therapeutic goals align with patients’ own goals, enabling them to return to what is important to them.
Kylie is one of our passionate Mars Clinic physiotherapists, supporting children, teens and their families to address continence issues. At Active, Kylie enjoys working in both the MPH Brisbane and Outpatient Clinics. Her special interests include cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, intensive care, coronary care physiotherapy, and paediatric physiotherapy. As a mother and Mars Clinic therapist, with an intimate understanding of children, Kylie builds excellent rapport with young patients and their carers.
In her spare time, Kylie enjoys amateur photography and decorating children’s birthday cakes. Her favourite moment as a physiotherapist was crossing the stage at her graduation ceremony in front of her children.
