Rachel is a compassionate and thoughtful physiotherapist with a particular interest in paediatric and adolescent continence. As part of the Mars Clinic team, she supports children and young people with a range of bladder and bowel concerns, working closely with families to understand their child’s symptoms and develop practical, individualised treatment plans.
Rachel understands that bladder and bowel concerns can have a significant impact on a child’s confidence, participation in school and activities, and family life. Her warm and encouraging approach helps children feel comfortable discussing what can sometimes be sensitive or embarrassing concerns. She values involving both children and their families in treatment, providing clear education and realistic strategies that can be incorporated into everyday routines.
Rachel is a member of the International Children’s Continence Society and is committed to keeping her knowledge current through ongoing professional development and emerging research in paediatric continence care.
Her broader physiotherapy experience spans paediatric, musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy, clinical Pilates, and hospital care. This diverse clinical background supports Rachel’s practical approach to problem-solving and her ability to consider the individual needs of each child and family.
Rachel enjoys being part of a collaborative physiotherapy team and is passionate about continuing to develop her clinical knowledge while helping children and families achieve meaningful improvements in their health and quality of life.
