Sarah is a passionate and caring physiotherapist with a particular interest in Women’s Health. She began her career developing and implementing resistance training programs to support women with bone health concerns and has since gained experience across cancer care, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological rehabilitation. After joining Active as a weekend hospital physiotherapist, Sarah transitioned to the outpatient team, where she now brings her broad rehabilitation and musculoskeletal experience to her work in Women’s Health Physiotherapy.
Sarah takes a thoughtful and patient-centred approach to care, taking the time to understand each person’s concerns, lifestyle and goals. Her broader rehabilitation experience gives her a strong understanding of movement, strength and exercise, which she incorporates into individualised treatment plans to help patients improve function and build confidence in their bodies.
Sarah is passionate about supporting women to understand their bodies, manage their health concerns and feel confident participating in the activities that are important to them. She combines education, exercise and practical treatment strategies with an individualised approach to care. One of the most rewarding aspects of physiotherapy for Sarah is seeing patients recognise their progress and achieve things they may not have thought possible.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, recreational powerlifting and playing the piano.
Sarah’s favourite quote:
