Sophie began her journey with Active as a member of our administration team while completing her Physiotherapy degree and transitioned into her role as a physiotherapist after graduating. This experience gave her a unique appreciation of the patient journey and the importance of delivering exceptional care from the very first point of contact.
Sophie has experience working across both hospital and private practice settings, supporting people recovering from surgery, injury, illness, and a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. She enjoys helping patients improve their strength, mobility, and confidence so they can return to the activities that are most important to them.
Known for her calm, thoughtful, and collaborative approach, Sophie takes the time to understand each patient’s goals, lifestyle, and individual circumstances before developing a personalised treatment plan. She combines evidence-based practice with clear communication and practical rehabilitation strategies, ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and actively involved throughout their recovery.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys an active lifestyle and can often be found surfing, swimming, running, hiking, or at the gym. She also enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
