Our Team

Tara Roberts

As the Neurosurgical Senior and Neurosurgical Clinical Stream Leader at Active Rehab, Tara is an integral part of the Neurosurgical Team. Tara is responsible for overseeing the treatment of post-operative neurological patients and provides support throughout their entire journey, from pre-operative management to achieving their personal and work goals.

To support her patients, Tara utilizes innovative technologies such as Physitrack, a leading rehabilitation and telehealth app. This allows her to connect with patients both online and in person, monitoring their progress and upgrading their rehabilitation programs as necessary.

Originally from Canada, Tara received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Brock University in Ontario. She then completed her Masters of Physiotherapy at The University of Queensland.

Tara is a compassionate and fun-loving physiotherapist who takes the time to understand her patients’ interests and incorporates them into their rehab programs. She finds joy in making a positive difference in her patients’ everyday lives.

In her free time, Tara enjoys being active outdoors and loves hiking and playing Frisbee. Prior to moving to Australia, she spent a significant amount of time playing indoor volleyball across North America. Tara’s passion for an active lifestyle is reflected in her work as a physiotherapist, where she encourages and supports her patients to achieve their physical goals.

Tara’s favourite quote:

You don’t need to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” – Martin Luther King
