Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, receiving First Class Honours. As part of her final year at university, Kate undertook two Honours Research Projects investigating physical activity in people with Traumatic Brain Injury, and neck pain in office workers. She also received the Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence throughout her studies. Kate is currently studying a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Queensland.
Whilst studying her medical degree, Kate works as part of our Active Rehab hospital physiotherapy team. She has a particular interest in acute post-surgical rehabilitation and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, and enjoys working with her patients to help them achieve their goals.
In her spare time Kate enjoys walking her two dogs, going on road trips with friends and family, and baking.
