Krishni was welcomed to Active Rehab in 2021 as a member of the weekend hospitals physiotherapist team. She has an interest in acute care – cardiorespiratory, post-op (abdominal surgery) and oncology. Krishni graduated from the University of New Castle, with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Her academic achievements include the APA Physiotherapy Research Foundation prize recipient in 2019 and Faculty of Health and Medicine Scholar in 2016.

While working weekends here at Active Rehab, Krishni will be utilising the remainder of her time studying a Doctor of Medicine at Griffith University.

Krishni brings with her a wealth of experience, having worked in various hospitals in Sydney, including Westmead Hospital, where she completed her new-grad training as well as St Vincent’s, Liverpool, and Goulburn Hospitals. Krishni enjoys getting involved in education and health promotion. She has been involved in several University of Sydney talks for high school students, to encourage them to consider career paths in health and medicine.

In her spare time Krishni enjoys running – She completed her first marathon in 2019, and is currently training for future half-marathons. Krishni also enjoys baking and trying new recipes as well as spending time with her family, and in particular her gorgeous niece and nephews.
