Nicole Wu works as part of Active Rehabilitation’s weekend hospital physiotherapy team, with a special interest in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy and neurological rehabilitation.

Nicole graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in 2019, where she received First Class Honours, as well as the Dean’s Commendation for High Achievement on multiple occasions.

During her physiotherapy studies, Nicole completed a research project comparing behavioural mapping with accelerometry, to determine its validity and efficiency in monitoring mobility levels in hospital inpatients.

Nicole is studying a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Queensland.

Nicole values both physical and mental well-being, and is a certified Mental Health First Aider.

Outside of work, Nicole has a diverse range of interests and skills including rock climbing, yoga, scuba diving, and as a qualified Barista, she is a lover of coffee.  Nicole is also fluent in Mandarin.
