Shantel joined our Active Rehab Physiotherapy team in 2018.  She works as part of our inpatient physiotherapy team. Shantel has an interest in post-operative, cardiorespiratory, and neurological rehabilitation.

Shantel graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, receiving First Class Honours, and also receiving the Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence on multiple occasions. During her studies, she participated in a research project focusing on lower back pain and neuromuscular responses, which was presented at the Australian Pain Society Conference in 2019. Shantel is highly passionate about education in the medical field and has commenced her degree in Medicine at Griffith University.

Outside of work,  Shantel enjoys running and playing volleyball, and loves all things food and cooking.
